WednesdayFuture Authors Workshop & Contest
Come experience what it takes to transform your ideas into a book. Writers will learn where ideas come from, what it means to show don’t tell, what makes a picture book, creating a story arc, and learn what it takes to be the next Maria Ashworth. Future Authors Contest: Future authors who want to participate will return home and continue to work on their manuscripts. They’ll send a final typed draft in 12-point Times New Roman and return to Livingston Library by July 20, 2018. The manuscripts will be sent to Ms. Ashworth. She’ll choose three winners from the three age groups (7-9), (10-12), (13-14). Winners will be posted on her website by August 1, 2018. Please call 936-327-4252 or email lsantiago@livingstonlibrary.net to sign up for this workshop.
