Book a Librarian
Livingston Municipal Library offers the Book-A-Librarian program, which provides one-on-one personalized computer help or research assistance.
Patrons can get help using a keyboard and a mouse, setting up an email account, browsing the internet, using Microsoft Office, researching with the TexShare databases, job searching, and downloading free eBooks and audiobooks with the library’s OverDrive service. Sessions can be personalized to fit a person's specific needs.
These one-hour training sessions must be scheduled at least one day in advance and are open to anyone. The TexShare Databases and eBook sessions require a current library card.
Training will be held on Tuesdays (10:00-11:00 a.m.), Wednesdays (3:00-4:00 p.m.) and Thursdays (10:00-11:00 a.m. & 3:00-4:00 p.m.), and more days may be added, depending on interest. To sign up or for more information, please contact Sabrina Jackson at (936) 327-4252 or by email.
