Story Times & Summer Reading
Baby & Me: Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m.
Story Time: Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m.
Toddler Time: Thursdays, 10:30 a.m.
Toddler Times and Story Times are provided for children and preschoolers ages 2-6 at Livingston Municipal Library. Stories from picture books, finger plays, and songs (and sometimes crafts) are included.
Story Times are planned for preschoolers, and are presented each week by a volunteer. Toddler Times are held for children 4 and younger.
Summer Reading Program
The Summer Reading Program provides students (ages 3 and older) the opportunity to maintain and develop their reading skills over the summer months.
There are two levels of participants in the reading club:
- Independent readers who read books on their own reading level at home.
- Non-readers who may have an older sibling, parent, or caregiver read books to them either at home or at the caregiver's home.
The Friends of the Library and many local merchants provide prizes, toys, and coupons that act as rewards for reading participants.
If you would like to volunteer to help with any of these activities, please call us at (936) 327-4252.
